駐馬來西亞臺北經濟文化辦事處教育組與吉隆坡臺灣學校將於本年5月24日舉辦「馬來西亞華語文能力測驗」（簡稱華測），報名期限自3月3日開始至4月25日截止，歡迎有興趣報考者即日起登入華測線上網站報考。
華測證書用途十分廣泛，除了是臺灣大專院校招收外籍學生之華語能力參考標準外，部分系所採認華測為畢業門檻，亦為僑外生留臺工作評點加分項目之一，同時，也是馬來西亞學子申請臺灣教育部獎學金之語言證明。有意申請教育部臺灣獎學金的學生，如申請就讀非全英語學程者，須提具華測至少進階級(Band B)的成績證明。申請者可在申請期限内先提交華測報考證明，領取成績後再另行補件。
華測施測內容為聽力與閱讀兩大部分，考生可選擇正體或簡體中文版本進行應試。通過測驗者將獲得由臺灣教育部頒發的華測證書。此證書不僅有助於了解個人華語能力，對於有意在華語使用國家學習、工作或從事貿易的專業人士而言，亦具有重要價值。本次華測採用線上報名方式，報名網址為 https://tocfl.edu.tw/OS/。 為鼓勵學習華語，凡10人以上團體報名，每位考生可享有九折優惠。欲享此優惠之學校或教育機構，請直接與教育組聯繫。
教育組張佳琳組長表示，華測精準對應歐洲共同語文參考架構(CEFR)及美國外語教學協會指標（ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines），考生及格證書會以中英文雙語列出TOCFL對照美國及歐洲語言級數。她說明：「教育組將繼續致力於推廣華測作爲國際標準化華語評估系統，我們期待已擅長華語者取得華測證書為自己加值，也鼓勵學習華語者藉由華測提升成效，更歡迎同學到臺灣修讀華語文教學學位學程，共同投入華語教學國際化與專業化的行列!」
吉隆坡臺灣學校鄭雅芬校長表示，隨著國際交流頻繁，華語已成為世界重要語言之一，不僅企業對華語人才之需求增加、華語能力也成為躋身跨國企業的重要利基，以及多元文化理解的溝通橋樑，除了鼓勵臺灣學校的學生參與華測，更歡迎各界踴躍報考。而吉隆坡臺校設有幼兒園、小學、國中及高中四學部，採華文、英文及馬來文三語教學，目前也持續開設華語成人班，鼓勵熱愛華語學習的民眾及家長參與學習，為華語文在海外推廣盡ㄧ份心力。
駐馬教育組籲把握機會申請台灣獎學金
另外，駐馬教育組也鼓勵馬來西亞學生把握機會，申請本年度「教育部臺灣獎學金」、「教育部華語文獎學金」及ICDF獎學金。這三項獎學金獎金優渥，鼓勵馬來西亞同學前往台灣優質高等教育學府升學及研習華語，臺獎及華獎申請期限為4月30日，而ICDF獎學金申請期限到3月15日，機會難得，敬請把握。

The Fourth Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) in Malaysia will take place at the Chinese Taipei School in Kuala Lumpur on 24th May 2025 (Saturday). Online registration for TOCFL will be open from 3rd March until 25th April 2025.
In a preparatory meeting held on 3rd March, Charlin Chang, the Education Director of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Malaysia highlighted the significance of the TOCFL as a powerful and standardized assessment tool for evaluating Mandarin proficiency. This test aligns with respected standards such as the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Proficiency Guidelines.
"We are committed to promoting this effective, internationally standardized Chinese assessment system. We encourage individuals proficient in Chinese, as well as Mandarin learners, to obtain a TOCFL certificate to validate or enhance their language skills. " said Charlin Chang.
There will be three proficiency bands available: Band A, Band B, and Band C. Each band offers both simplified and traditional Mandarin test papers. Candidates who pass the test will receive a certificate from the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, which serves as a credible reference for Chinese language proficiency in university applications or job searches. Candidates can register through the online registration form: https://tocfl.edu.tw/OS/. For group registrations of ten or more individuals, each participant will enjoy a 10% discount.
Taiwan Scholarship Offered to Further Studies in Taiwan
In addition, the Education Division encourages Malaysian students to apply for the Taiwan Scholarship to further their studies in Taiwan. There are currently three scholarship programs available: the MOE Taiwan Scholarship, the MOE Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES), and the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) Scholarship Program. Interested individuals are invited to submit their applications before the deadline.
