The Center for Chinese Studies, National Central Library offers Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies, aimed at foreign professors, associate professors, assistant professors (including post-doctoral researchers), and doctoral candidates.
Research tenure is one month to one year.
A direct round-trip ticket between the domicile of grant recipients and Taipei is available and a monthly grant is provided.

國家圖書館漢學研究中心辦理之本年度「外籍學人來臺研究漢學獎助」業已開放申請。獎助研究主題以漢學或臺灣研究為原則，研究期間為1個月至1年不等，由該中心提供來回機票（經濟艙）和每月研究補助費（教授每月新臺幣6萬元整、副教授每月新臺幣5萬元整、助理教授（博士後研究）以及博士候選人每月新臺幣4萬元整）。
