「2025年馬來西亞華語文能力測驗」（簡稱華測）將於5月30日（星期五）假北海鍾靈國民型華文中學舉行，歡迎各級學生及民眾踴躍報考!
本次華測是由駐馬來西亞臺北經濟文化辦事處教育組主辦，北海鍾靈國民型華文中學以及馬來西亞臺灣教育文化協會協辦。本次華測報名日期自3月24日開始至4月25日截止，有興趣報考者即日起可登入華測線上網站報考。
駐馬來西亞代表處教育組張佳琳組長表示，華測係對應歐洲共同語文參考架構(CEFR)及美國外語教學協會指標（ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines）國際通用的標準化測驗，考生及格證書會以中英文雙語列出TOCFL對照美國及歐洲語言級數。她說明：華測證書用途十分廣泛，一證在手，受用無窮!
華測除了是國際公認的標準化語言能力檢定，可以為考生未來的學習與職涯發展增添更多優勢之外，華測也是臺灣大專院校招收外籍學生之華語能力參考標準之一，亦為僑外生留臺工作評點加分項目，同時，也是馬來西亞學子申請臺灣教育部獎學金之語言證明。有意申請教育部臺灣獎學金的學生，如申請就讀非全英語學程，須提具華測進階級(Band B)以上的成績證明。申請者可在申請期限内先提交華測報考證明，領取成績後再另行補件。
張佳琳補充，華測考試內容分為聽力和閱讀二種，考生可選擇正體或簡體版本應考。通過華測者將獲得臺灣教育部頒發之精美證書，歡迎不論是想要瞭解自己華語程度，或是工作、交流、貿易上有需求的各界人士報名參加。
本次華測採用線上報名方式，報名網址為 https://tocfl.edu.tw/OS/ ，為鼓勵馬來西亞學習華語風氣，10人以上團體報名每人可享9折優惠，擬享此優惠之學校或教育機構單位負責人請洽駐馬來西亞教育組。

The 2025 Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) in Malaysia will be held on Friday, May 30, at Chung Ling (Butterworth) High School. Students of all levels and members of the public are encouraged to register and participate!
This TOCFL is organized by the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Malaysia, and co-organized by Chung Ling (Butterworth) High School and the Malaysia Taiwan Education and Cultural Association. Registration is open from March 24 to April 25. Those interested may register online at the official TOCFL website.
According to Director Charlin Chang of the Education Division at TECO in Malaysia, the TOCFL is a standardized test aligned with international frameworks such as the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Proficiency Guidelines. Certificates for passing candidates will be issued in both Chinese and English and will indicate the equivalent levels under CEFR and ACTFL. She explained that the TOCFL certificate has wide-ranging uses and great value.
Beyond being an internationally recognized language proficiency certification, it also gives examinees an edge in academic pursuits and future career development. Furthermore, the TOCFL serves as a reference standard for Mandarin proficiency in applications to Taiwanese universities, is a point item for overseas students wishing to work in Taiwan, and is also a required language qualification for Malaysian students applying for Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE) scholarships. Students applying for non-English-taught programs must submit proof of achieving at least Band B (intermediate level) in TOCFL. Applicants may submit proof of test registration during the application period and supplement their applications with the results once available.
Charlin Chang added that the TOCFL consists of listening and reading components, and test-takers may choose between traditional or simplified Chinese versions. Successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. The test is open to anyone interested in assessing their Mandarin proficiency or who needs certification for work, exchange programs, or trade-related purposes.
Registration is conducted online at: https://tocfl.edu.tw/OS/. To promote Mandarin learning in Malaysia, group registrations of 10 or more participants will enjoy a 10% discount per person.
